Tales of Illuminatus! #2 has surpassed its modest funding goal on Kickstarter :)))
I intentionally set our budget to a reasonable $777 because I knew we were going to make the book with or without financial backing, and I wanted to focus more on making a good comic, rather than worrying too much about selling it.
Though that being said, financial backing would most certainly help us make our TALES bigger, better, and faster!

I think it might indeed prove very smart to have a European lauching base as well, good thinking!
I love how Fission Chips looks like Sean Connery, but with a twist as the moustache brings to my mind Zardoz rather than the secret agent. I note that what could be interpreted as the V of Victory might prove to be instead the roman numeral V (or even 'Victorian-era Values'), thus marking Chips' allegiance to the aneristic forces of Order, the Law of Five and the Pentagon. Readers of John Higgs' Love and Let Die would remember that the government-employed, licensed to kill, secret agent was in fact waging a reactionnary cultural war against the followers of the Yellow Submarine. Anarchy in the UK! Ewige blumenkraft!
